It also deals with the fraud committed by an online fraudster known as "Sir Facebook" by revealing fake profiles and posting false ads in social media for getting money from innocent people. A small misunderstanding leads to a major fight between Pavada and Sir Facebook and he is arrested by Police in the end. The story is based on several real scandals that happened in Kerala recently. This is one of the most successful Malayalam movies of 2016. Pavada has earned more than 2.5 crores in just 10 days resulting in a grand success after its release on June 28, 2016. The songs of the movie were released on YouTube on April 23, 2016 by 'Thamizh Isai'. The music was composed by Ratheesh Vegha. The Lyrics were written by Makarand Deshpande and Ratheesh Vegha.
