This CD-ROM includes 4 levels: Elementary, Upper Intermediate Pre-Intermediate and Advanced. It contains over 12,000 words and 187,935 flashcards in total. The English Vocabulary in Use helps learners build their knowledge and understanding of English vocabulary skills in a systematic and efficient way. They learn how to use the language effectively through the activities in the CD which support 3 types of learning: receptive reading comprehension, active reading practices and interactive learning activities such as games and quizzes. It also features a quiz book with mini tests for learners to test their skills when they're ready to take them again or share with friends/family members who are following along! The CD is designed for learners aged Grade 2+. In addition to the CD, there is a separate workbook that has been developed for EFL learners. It covers the same topics as the CD but also has writing activities to broaden learners’ abilities by improving their writing skills. This is especially useful for non-native speakers who are preparing for academic study or professional life abroad. The Workbook can be used by learners without the CD, but it is highly recommended that they use the CD-ROM with it. The Workbook is divided into two parts, Part A and Part B. Both parts have different features with each covering different topics related to vocabulary learning. The Workbook Part A is aimed at elementary and pre-intermediate learners while the Workbook Part B is for intermediate and advanced learners. The CD for this grammar book is called "English Grammar in Use". The CD includes an interactive program that helps students to get a better understanding of the grammar. The program features: Interactive Tests, Modules, Video Tutorials and a Flashcard Builder. There are two kinds of software produced: one based on the book "A Practical English Grammar" (PEG) and another on the book "A Reference Grammar of Modern English". It is possible to install both kinds of software at the same time on one computer.

"English Grammar in Use Upper-Intermediate Pre-Intermediate" has also been awarded with this award by Association for Educational Publishers' 2007 Educational Technology Awards . It won the Best Reference Software accolade at the 2007 Electronic Learning Conference & Expo.
